EVOLUTION OF AUTOMOBILES

Please don’t go on the literal meaning of the word EVOLUTION (:-p I won’t annoy you much by going deep in the history, though I will definitely discuss some classics in near future).

If you look at the literal meaning of the Word AUTOMOBILE, It just says that “An automobile or car is a passenger vehicle that usually has four wheels and is moved on land by an engine”.

But this definition has evolved manifolds; it seems to be absurd in the present times.
Car which used to be a dream of common man in the recent times has evolved as a requirement and as a NECESSITY (to be more precise). With easy finance and loan options buying a car is no more a dream. All you need is to have a DESIRE to buy an automobile whether it is a car or a bike.

The cars have also evolved a great deal in terms of design, looks, efficiency and cost. Environmental norms and social issues have discouraged selling of MUSCLE cars that were very popular in the recent. This has paved path for smaller cars which are low on price and high on efficiency. But increased wages and sense of being better than others still exists and thus car companies are making a moolah out of it.

There are people who survey for several months before buying a car, test riding each car in the preferred segment to match their needs, on the contrary there are emotional buyers who buy cars for pride, passion or obsession and the purchase may or may not reflect there need and requirements.
